Avatar: The Way of Water opened up at the top spot over the weekend.

James Cameron’s follow-up to his 2009 3D-infused film, Avatar, is finally here. The Way of Water opened up over the weekend at the top number-one spot and is nearing half a billion dollars worldwide. It currently sits at $434,500,000. Of that amount, it made $134,000,000 domestically. The 3-hour 12-minute movie has impressed moviegoers with its beautiful 3D experience. The first film is still the world’s highest-grossing film, with a lifetime gross of $2,922,917,914. Synopsis
