Brett Dalton discusses Season 2 of Found revisits Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Brett Dalton, who stars in the NBC drama Found, is excited for the show’s second season, which premieres tomorrow, October 3rd. In a recent interview, I spoke with Dalton about season 2. He shared insights into his character and the emotional depth that the show brings. You can watch the full interview below!
Dalton praised the show’s focus on character development and its ability to connect with viewers on an emotional level. “What makes Found stand out is how deeply flawed each character is,” Dalton said. “These aren’t just heroes saving the day — they are people who’ve been through real trauma and use those experiences to solve cases.”
The conversation shifted briefly to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., where Dalton expressed his enjoyment of playing both a hero and a villain in the series. “Playing the villain gives you a freedom you don’t get with a typical hero. You can break the rules,” Dalton remarked. When asked about a possible return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in future multiverse storylines, Dalton enthusiastically said he would be ready if called upon.
Throughout our discussion, Dalton highlighted the strong chemistry among the Found cast, particularly praising Shanola Hampton, who plays the lead, Gabi Mosely. “The connection we have on set really comes through on screen,” he said. We both agreed the show manages to handle serious topics, such as the disappearance of people of color, without feeling overly dramatic or cheesy. Dalton also teased the intense pace of the upcoming season, saying it “never lets up” and that audiences would be left on the edge of their seats.
About Found
In Found, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the U.S. annually, and many of them are people of color who are often overlooked. The show centers on Gabi Mosely, a public relations specialist who leads a crisis management team while secretly harboring her own dark past.
Alongside Dalton, the cast includes Shanola Hampton, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, and Gabrielle Walsh. Season 2, premiering October 3rd, promises even more twists and turns.
