Chainsaw Man brings the beloved anime to cinemas worldwide.

Chainsaw Man is finally coming to the big screen. The hit anime series makes its theatrical debut with Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. It is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover) with a screenplay by Hiroshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen). The film adapts one of the most popular storylines from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga, serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+.
A Deadly Love Story Unfolds
For the first time, audiences will experience Chainsaw Man in a feature-length, action-fueled spectacle. The film continues the story of Denji. He is a teenager who once worked as a Devil Hunter for the yakuza while burdened by the crushing debt left by his parents. After being betrayed and killed, Denji is saved by his loyal chainsaw-powered devil-dog, Pochita. Their bond fuses them into the unstoppable Chainsaw Man.

Now locked in a brutal war between devils, hunters, and hidden enemies, Denji’s life takes a sharp turn when a mysterious girl named Reze enters his world. What begins as a romance quickly transforms into Denji’s deadliest battle yet, where love collides with survival in a blood-soaked fight with no rules.

Music Spotlight: Kenshi Yonezu Returns
Adding to the excitement, Kenshi Yonezu is back with a brand-new theme song for the movie titled “IRIS OUT.” Yonezu previously performed the wildly popular opening track “Kick Back” for the anime series, which became a viral sensation. Now, with Yonezu reigning as the number one pop artist in Japan, his return marks a major crossover moment between anime and music fandoms.
Blending horror, action, and heart, Chainsaw Man has built a dedicated worldwide fanbase and continues to dominate both manga sales and anime streaming charts. The Reze Arc film marks its first leap into cinemas, bringing Fujimoto’s vision to a massive scale. Catch it in theaters on October 24th, 2025.
