Deadpool & Wolverine, Dune: Part Two, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, and Sinners lead film wins.

The Critics Choice Association has officially unveiled the winners of the 5th Annual Critics Choice Super Awards, celebrating fan-favorite genres across both film and television—including superhero, science fiction/fantasy, horror, and action. The annual awards spotlight blockbuster storytelling, genre excellence, and standout performances in projects that resonate most with passionate viewers.
This year’s biggest TV winner was The Penguin, which swept all four of its nominated categories. The darkly stylized DC limited series took home the award for Best Superhero Series, Limited Series, or Made-for-TV Movie. Colin Farrell earned dual honors for his brooding portrayal of Oswald Cobblepot, winning both Best Actor and Best Villain in a Superhero Series. In contrast, Cristin Milioti won Best Actress for her role as Sofia Falcone.
On the film side, four titles earned double victories: Deadpool & Wolverine, Dune: Part Two, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, and Sinners.
- Deadpool & Wolverine was awarded Best Superhero Movie, and Hugh Jackman was recognized for reprising his role as Logan with Best Actor in a Superhero Movie.
- Dune: Part Two continued its genre dominance by winning Best Science Fiction/Fantasy Movie, with Timothée Chalamet taking Best Actor honors in that category.
- The action-packed Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning earned Best Action Movie, and Tom Cruise claimed Best Actor in an Action Movie for his ever-defiant Ethan Hunt.
- Horror standout Sinners took home Best Horror Movie, while Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor in a Horror Movie for his chilling performance.
June Squibb (Thelma), Florence Pugh (Thunderbolts), Demi Moore (The Substance), and Sophie Thatcher (Companion) also earned wins in their respective categories, along with Hugh Grant, who was crowned Best Villain in a Movie for his role in Heretic.
