Christmas goes awry in Bobby Farrelly’s Dear Santa with Jack Black.
The holiday season is about to take a devilish turn with Paramount+’s latest festive comedy, Dear Santa, streaming and available on digital platforms starting November 25. Directed by Bobby Farrelly, the film promises to deliver a hilariously chaotic twist on the traditional Christmas story, featuring Jack Black as the unlikely holiday visitor.
The story begins when a young boy wants to send his Christmas list to Santa. In his excitement, he accidentally makes a crucial spelling error. This mistake leads not to Saint Nick but a devilish character played by Jack Black. With his unique brand of chaos, Black’s character arrives to spread his own version of holiday “cheer,” turning what should be a warm, festive season into one of hysterical havoc. Known for his comedic roles and larger-than-life performances, Black brings a devilish energy to a storyline crafted by Ricky Blitt, Peter Farrelly, and Dan Ewen—minds behind iconic comedies like Dumb & Dumber.
Rounding out the cast are comedy powerhouses Keegan-Michael Key and Brianne Howey.
There will also be a surprise appearance from musician Post Malone. Robert Timothy Smith, Hayes MacArthur, P.J. Byrne, Jaden Carson Baker, and Kai Cech also star, adding layers of humor and heart to the ensemble. Each character must contend with the devilish twist that Black’s character brings to their holiday plans, resulting in a mix of laughs, surprises, and touching holiday moments.
