DUNE: Prophecy Experience and Panel at NYCC Reveiled by MAX

Dune: Prophecy cast and creatives to join exclusive panel featuring trailer debut.

Max is set to launch a campaign for the highly anticipated HBO Original series Dune: Prophecy at New York Comic Con (NYCC), offering fans an immersive experience ahead of its November debut. The series, co-produced with Legendary Television, will air on both HBO and Max, alongside a companion podcast.

The Dune: Prophecy experience kicks off on Thursday, October 17, with an interactive activation at NYCC in partnership with Droga5. Hosted on the 4th floor Pavilion of the Javits Center, the “Dune: Prophecy Experience” will transport attendees to the mysterious world of Wallach IX. There, fans will undergo a series of trials inspired by the rigorous training of the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood. Successful participants will receive exclusive NYCC swag as part of the event, which runs through Sunday, October 20.

In addition to the activation, a panel featuring the show’s cast and creatives will be held on the Empire Stage from 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET on October 17. The panel will include showrunner and executive producer Alison Schapker, executive producer Jordan Goldberg, and cast members Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, and Travis Fimmel. During the session, they will unveil the official trailer for Dune: Prophecy and discuss the series in detail. The trailer will be released globally following its in-room debut.

Max will offer fans a Dune: Prophecy national fan screening on November 7 in partnership with Alamo Drafthouse. The screenings will feature themed menu items, trivia, and additional elements designed to immerse viewers in the world of Dune. Set 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they confront forces threatening humanity’s future and establish the Bene Gesserit. The series explores the origins of the Sisterhood during one of the most pivotal periods in the Dune universe. Schapker helms the series, with Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson also serving as key contributors. Read our Dune Part Two Movie Review.
