This year’s film categories brought surprises, returning favorites, and dominant studio showings. “One Battle After Another” leads the pack with the most nominations, continuing its momentum through critics groups and festival chatter. Across drama categories, Kathy Bates (Matlock), Bella Ramsey (The Last of Us), and Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus) appear among the standout nominees. Adam Scott, Diego Luna, and Gary Oldman anchor the male acting races.
Comedy contenders include Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, and Only Murders in the Building, with Ayo Edebiri, Selena Gomez, Jean Smart, and Steve Martin earning nominations.
Limited series categories highlight performances from Claire Danes (The Beast in Me), Michelle Williams (Dying for Sex), Jude Law (Black Rabbit), and Jacob Elordi (The Narrow Road to the Deep North).
Podcasts Join the Golden Globe Lineup
In a sign of evolving media, the Globes continue their recognition of audio storytelling. Nominees for Best Podcast include Armchair Expert, Call Her Daddy, Good Hang with Amy Poehler, The Mel Robbins Podcast, SmartLess, and NPR’s Up First.
