‘Goosebumps’ Disney+ Anthology Series Adds Exciting New Recurring Cast Members

“Goosebumps” welcomes new faces in Season 2.

Disney+ announced an exciting expansion of the cast for their popular anthology series “Goosebumps.” Season Two will feature new characters and a new story. New recurring cast members joining the show include Arjun Athalye, Stony Blyden, Sakina Jaffrey, Eloise Payet, Christopher Paul Richards, and Kyra Tantao. Read our Season One Review!

Meet the cast

Arjun Athalye, known for his role in “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, will be playing the character of Sameer. Eloise Payet, who starred in “The End of the Party,” is cast as Hannah. Christopher Paul Richards from “The Kids Are Alright” will portray Matty, while Kyra Tantao, who appeared in “ZOMBIES 3,” takes on the role of Nicole. These four teenagers, Sameer, Hannah, Matty, and Nicole, mysteriously vanished in 1994, and their disappearance forms a crucial part of the show’s central mystery. Stony Blyden, who audiences may recognize from “American Born Chinese,” joins the cast as Trey, the boyfriend of series regular Frankie. Sakina Jaffrey, familiar from her roles in “Billions,” will play Ramona, a character shrouded in mystery.

Season two introduces a fresh storyline, setting, and cast while maintaining the eerie charm fans love.

The new season of Goosebumps centers on fraternal twins Devin and Cece, played by Sam McCarthy and Jayden Bartels. After adjusting to life with their recently divorced dad, Anthony (David Schwimmer), they soon uncover a lurking threat. As dark secrets come to light, Devin, Cece, and their friends Alex (Francesca Noel), CJ (Elijah Cooper), and Frankie (Galilea La Salvia) find themselves embroiled in the chilling mystery of the four teenagers who disappeared in 1994.

The new additions join an already impressive lineup of series regulars.

It includes David Schwimmer as Anthony, Ana Ortiz as Jen, Sam McCarthy as Devin, Jayden Bartels as Cece, Elijah Cooper as CJ, Galilea La Salvia as Frankie, and Francesca Noel as Alex. “Goosebumps” continues to captivate audiences with its thrilling tales inspired by R.L. Stine’s bestselling Scholastic series. The books have sold over 400 million copies worldwide. They have been translated into 32 languages, cementing their place in horror literature for young readers.

The show promises a blend of supernatural elements, suspense, and engaging character dynamics. Like season one, it will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
