Gran Turismo movie to be directed by Neill Blomkamp.
During the SONY Press Event at CES 2023, the live-action movie adaption of their popular video game franchise Gran Turismo was revealed. The upcoming movie is directed by Neill Blomkamp, who came onto the stage to discuss the film and the cameras used. Blomkamp is best known for District 9, Elysium and Chappioe. The film stars Orlando Bloom and David Harbour. It is based on the inspiring true story of an impossible dream. The racing simulation video game made its debut in 1997 and has eight installments. It will be in theaters on August 11th, 2023. Watch the sneak peek video below!
