The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare by Guy Ritchie is a WWII action comedy.

Lionsgate has officially announced the release date for Guy Ritchie’s latest movie, “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.” The action-comedy will hit theaters on April 19, 2024. The film promises to take audiences on an exhilarating ride. It follows the untold story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during World War II.

The movie is directed and co-written by Ritchie.

He is a well-known filmmaker who has previously worked on popular films like “Sherlock Holmes” and “The Gentlemen.” The film is based on Damien Lewis’s book. It is titled “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare: How Churchill’s Secret Warriors Set Europe Ablaze and Gave Birth to Modern Black Ops.” Additionally, inspiration was drawn by the recently declassified files from the British War Department.

Renowned filmmakers Jerry Bruckheimer, Guy Ritchie, Chad Oman, Ivan Atkinson, and John Friedberg are producing this cinematic masterpiece. The movie features a star-studded cast. It includes Henry Cavill, Eiza González, and Alan Ritchson. The rest of the cast features Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusamokun, Henrique Zaga, Til Schweiger, Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes. This charismatic ensemble brings history to life on the silver screen with exceptional performances.

“The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” is a film based on a true story.

It is about a top-secret combat unit formed by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a group of military officials, including the famous author Ian Fleming. The team consisted of a group of rogues and mavericks who embarked on dangerous missions against the Nazis using unconventional fighting techniques. The movie promises an action-packed narrative. It will be filled with suspense and humor, offering a unique perspective on the audacious approach that laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.
