Kraven The Hunter adds Russell Crowe in mystery role.
THR has reported that Russell Crowe has been cast in Sony’s Kraven The Hunter film. This is another Spider-Man spin-off following the likes of Venom and Morbius. Crowe’s role has not been disclosed yet. He is also expected to appear in Thor: Love and Thunder as Zeus. Aaron Taylor-Johnson will star as Kraven. Taylor-Johnson has played in the super-hero realm before in Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass and as Quicksilver in Marvel Studios Avengers: The Age of Ultron. Kraven is an anti-hero who first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man No. 15. His best storyline is Kraven’s Last Hunt which debuted in 1980. It will be directed by J.C. Chandor with a script by Art Marcu, Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk. Kraven The Hunter will premiere in theaters on January 13th, 2023.
