Lilo & Stitch cast unite fans with a heartwarming Comic-Con experience.

Ohana truly meant family at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International as Walt Disney Studios celebrated Lilo & Stitch with an unforgettable presence that combined heartfelt storytelling, island spirit, and fan engagement.

The summer’s billion-dollar box office blockbuster brought a wave of aloha to the convention floor. Fans experienced the film through a vibrant Taste of Paradise activation and a joyful cast panel that left audiences beaming.
A Star-Studded Look Behind the Scenes
The electrifying panel, titled “A Look Inside the Continuing Phenomenon,” was met with thunderous applause from a packed audience of over 2,100. Hosted by Entertainment Tonight’s Denny Directo, the event featured stars Chris Sanders (the original voice and co-creator of Stitch), Tia Carrere, Maia Kealoha, and Sydney Agudong.
Together, they shared emotional and humorous behind-the-scenes stories from the live-action adaptation. They reflected on the legacy of the original animated film and its continued cultural impact. The panel featured early Stitch concept art, laugh-out-loud outtakes, and a heartfelt look at the real-life friendships and bonds that gave the new Lilo & Stitch its signature charm.
An Activation with Island Flair
Outside the convention center, fans of all ages—no Comic-Con badge required—got a taste of paradise with a fully themed, immersive activation. The Lilo & Stitch experience included island-inspired photo opportunities that transported guests straight to the beaches of Hawaii.

Visitors cooled off with daily servings of free shaved ice and Dole Whip, while photo ops and beachy backdrops offered plenty of Instagram-worthy moments. Families, cosplay groups, and longtime fans embraced the spirit of aloha with Stitch-themed activities and souvenirs, making it one of the weekend’s most talked-about offsite experiences.

Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, a certified summer hit and a box office juggernaut, is now available on Digital to buy or rent. Fans can relive the magic at home, and collectors can look forward to the 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release arriving August 26.
