Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman go the scenic route in Long Way Home.

Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman are hitting the road once again in Long Way Home, a new motorcycle adventure series premiering globally on Apple TV+ on May 9, 2025.
The Emmy-nominated duo are known for their globe-trotting friendship and two-wheeled travel. Now they embark on their latest journey riding refurbished vintage motorcycles from McGregor’s home in Scotland to Boorman’s in England. But in true Long Way fashion, they don’t take the direct route.
Instead, McGregor and Boorman cross the North Sea to Scandinavia. They push into the Arctic Circle and explore the Baltics before traveling through continental Europe.

Their path takes them through 17 countries over two months. The series captures breathtaking landscapes, rich local cultures, and adrenaline-fueled experiences along some of the world’s most scenic driving roads.

The new season continues the legacy of their previous adventures — Long Way Round (2004), Long Way Down (2007), and Long Way Up (2020). They are all currently available to stream on Apple TV+. Each series has blended heartfelt storytelling, rugged travel, and a deep curiosity for the world, making them fan favorites across the globe.

Long Way Home is executive produced by McGregor and Boorman, alongside longtime collaborators David Alexanian and Russ Malkin, who also serve as directors. With new challenges, emotional moments, and scenic wonders, Long Way Home promises to be the most epic journey yet. It is a celebration of adventure, resilience, and the open road.
