Idris Elba reutrns as Luther. The Netflix film, The Fallen Sun, continues the award-winning television saga. The last we see of Elba’s character was in the finale of the BBC drama, where he landed behind bars. The film also stars Cynthia Erivo, Andy Serkis, and Dermot Crowley, who returns as Martin Schenk. It will debut in theaters on February 24 and on Netflix on March 10. Watch the movie trailer below!
Synopsis
A gruesome serial killer terrorizes London while brilliant but disgraced detective John Luther (Idris Elba) sits behind bars. Haunted by his failure to capture the cyber psychopath who now taunts him, he decides to break out of prison to finish the job by any means necessary.
