Marriage Story starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson, is a fantastic movie that is tragic yet touching. Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Noah Baumbach directs this incisive and compassionate look at a marriage coming apart and a family staying together.

Netflix-produced movies usually aren’t the best, but they entertain us. Sometimes Netflix will put out a movie that could have done well in theaters, and Marriage Story is one of those films. It is a story that dives deep into a not-so-fairy tale marriage. Adam Driver continues to show how amazing of an actor he is with an Oscar-worthy performance, and Scarlett Johansson delivers a heartfelt performance like always. This movie is funny, touching, and heartbreaking, with strong moments and performances throughout that fairly show both sides of a relationship.
Verdict
