Mattel is expanding Eternia once again with a new lineup of premium collectibles led by the Mattel Brick Shop: Masters of the Universe Battle for Castle Grayskull set. The Mattel Creations release arrives as anticipation builds for the upcoming Masters of the Universe theatrical film, opening June 5.
The new collection blends nostalgia with modern display design, offering longtime fans and new collectors a chance to bring the legendary battle between He-Man and Skeletor to life. From buildable environments to rare figure tributes, Mattel continues to deepen its connection to one of pop culture’s most enduring franchises.
Mattel Brick Shop Brings Castle Grayskull to Life
The centerpiece of the release is the all-new Mattel Brick Shop: Masters of the Universe Battle for Castle Grayskull. The detailed buildable set recreates Eternia’s most iconic location with a dynamic micro-world approach designed for display and storytelling.
The set features a fully realized replica of Castle Grayskull, complete with interior detailing and rotating towers that reveal the action inside. A rotating inner sanctum allows collectors to showcase different battle scenes from multiple angles.
Sixteen micro-world figures are included, marking the first time this quantity appears at this price point. Characters include He-Man, Teela, Skeletor, and Evil-Lyn, along with exclusive versions of Cringer, Beast Man, Sorceress, and Zoar. Special effect bricks and stunt sticks enhance display possibilities and allow collectors to create cinematic battle moments.

Rare Vintage Inspiration Returns with Laser Power He-Man
Mattel also introduces the Masters of the Universe Origins Deluxe Laser Power He-Man, inspired by one of the rarest figures released during the 1980s era. The original toy had limited distribution in Europe and became highly sought after by collectors.
The updated version features modern sculpting and sixteen points of articulation. A light-up sword creates a glowing blade effect, giving the Most Powerful Man in the Universe a display presence that stands apart from earlier figures.
Skeletor Gets a Stylish Twist with Monster High Skullector Edition
Mattel continues its crossover approach with the Monster High Skullector Skeletor figure, offering a bold reinterpretation of the franchise’s iconic villain. The stylized version presents Skeletor with fashion-forward design elements inspired by Snake Mountain and Eternia lore.
The figure combines dramatic sculpting with themed accessories, including Skeletor’s signature staff and detailed costume elements. The release adds a playful and creative spin to one of the franchise’s most recognizable characters.
