Netflix’s live-action Assassin’s Creed show cast grows with four new recurring roles.

Netflix’s upcoming live-action Assassin’s Creed series continues to expand its global ensemble as production moves forward on the highly anticipated adaptation. The streaming platform announced that Noomi Rapace, Ramzy Bedia, Sean Harris, and Corrado Invernizzi will join the series in recurring roles.
The four actors join previously announced cast members Lola Petticrew, Toby Wallace, Zachary Hart, Laura Marcus, and Tanzyn Crawford. Together, the growing ensemble reflects the ambitious scope of the Assassin’s Creed universe, which spans centuries of history and cultures across the globe.
The casting also signals Netflix’s commitment to building a diverse international lineup for one of its most ambitious gaming adaptations to date.
New Cast Members Bring Experience Across Film and Television
Noomi Rapace leads the latest casting additions. The acclaimed Swedish actor gained global recognition with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trilogy before expanding into major international productions such as Prometheus and Lamb. Rapace is known for portraying intense, complex characters, which makes her a natural fit for the dangerous world of assassins and secret societies.
Ramzy Bedia also joins the project, bringing decades of experience across French cinema and television. Bedia is widely known for roles in Of Money and Blood, Haunted Minds, The Party’s Over, and the cult comedy La Tour Montparnasse. His work blends comedy and drama, adding another layer of versatility to the expanding cast.
Meanwhile, British actor Sean Harris brings strong genre credibility to the series. Harris is widely recognized for portraying Solomon Lane in the Mission: Impossible films and for his performance in The Stranger. His ability to portray intense and mysterious figures fits naturally within the morally complex Assassin’s Creed universe.
Corrado Invernizzi completes the latest group of casting announcements. The Italian actor has appeared in major international productions including Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Ford v Ferrari, and Vincere. His television work includes Marco Polo and Doctor Who, and he has collaborated with filmmakers such as Marco Bellocchio and Martin Scorsese.
Specific character details remain under wraps, but the range of talent suggests the series will explore multiple timelines and historical locations.
A Story Built Around a Secret War for Humanity’s Future
The Netflix series centers on the core conflict that defines the Assassin’s Creed franchise. According to the official logline, the story follows a secret war between two powerful factions operating in the shadows.
One faction seeks to shape humanity’s future through control and manipulation. The opposing group fights to preserve free will and prevent that power from falling into the wrong hands.
The story unfolds across pivotal historical events as characters attempt to influence the direction of human history. This structure mirrors the storytelling approach that made the video games famous, blending historical adventure with modern conspiracies and philosophical themes.
Experienced Showrunners Lead the Adaptation
The live-action series is led by Roberto Patino and David Wiener, who serve as showrunners and executive producers. Patino previously worked on DMZ, Westworld, and Sons of Anarchy, while Wiener’s credits include Halo, Homecoming, and The Killing.
Additional executive producers include Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill, and Genevieve Jones for Ubisoft Film & Television. Matt O’Toole also serves as executive producer.
The project represents a major collaboration between Netflix and Ubisoft as the companies expand the Assassin’s Creed universe beyond video games.
One of the Most Successful Video Game Franchises Ever
Since its debut in 2007, the Assassin’s Creed franchise has become one of the most successful video game series in history. The games have sold more than 230 million units worldwide, establishing a global fan base across multiple generations of players.
The franchise is known for its expansive storytelling, which combines real historical settings with fictional conspiracies and secret organizations. Players have explored eras ranging from the Crusades and Renaissance Italy to ancient Egypt and Viking-age Europe.
That sweeping historical scale makes Assassin’s Creed particularly suited for television storytelling. With an expanding cast and an experienced creative team behind the scenes, Netflix’s Assassin’s Creed series is shaping up to be one of the platform’s most ambitious adaptations yet.
