Netflix teases “Into the Grand Line” at ONE PIECE Day celebration.

The Straw Hats are officially setting course for the Grand Line. During the annual ONE PIECE Day celebration in Tokyo, Netflix revealed that One Piece: Into the Grand Line will premiere in 2026. The streamer also confirmed that production on Season 3 will begin later this year in Cape Town, South Africa.
Based on Eiichiro Oda’s record-breaking manga, One Piece follows the spirited Monkey D. Luffy and his crew of misfits on a quest to become King of the Pirates. The live-action series, produced in partnership with Shueisha and Tomorrow Studios, is executive produced by Oda himself.
Joining returning showrunner Joe Tracz, Ian Stokes will co-lead the series as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer for Season 3.
What’s Next for the Straw Hats?
According to the official synopsis, Season 2 will introduce “fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet” as Luffy and his crew embark on their first journey through the Grand Line—a treacherous and fantastical stretch of ocean teeming with strange islands, powerful foes, and untold wonders.
With Gold Roger’s (Michael Dorman) legendary treasure, the One Piece, still out there, the Straw Hats’ adventure is only just beginning. Among the many surprises, Season 2 will bring fan-favorite reindeer-boy hybrid Tony Tony Chopper to life, portrayed by Mikaela Hoover (Beef, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3).
Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy) will also make her debut as Dr. Kureha, while Joe Manganiello joins the cast as the villainous Mr. 0.
