Pee-wee’s Playhouse fan-designed set brings Saturday-morning magic to LEGO Ideas.

A new fan creation on LEGO Ideas is aiming to bring Pee-wee Herman’s colorful and wacky world to life in brick form. The Pee-wee’s Playhouse LEGO set, now live on LEGO’s official fan-submission platform, recreates the iconic Saturday-morning children’s series in meticulous detail, packed with characters, references, and playful features.
A Brick-Built Playhouse
The proposed set includes three iconic rooms from the Playhouse—the Living Room, Bedroom, and Kitchen. Thanks to hinge points, the house folds open to reveal extra details and hidden characters, including fan-favorite Floory. Pee-wee can make video calls on the Picture Phone, check in with the Refrigerator Food, get a wish from Jambi, and ride off on his trusty Scooter.
The set also features seven minifigures of Pee-wee’s live-action friends: Ricardo, Cowboy Curtis, Miss Yvonne, Pee-wee Herman, Captain Carl, King of Cartoons, and Reba the Mail Lady.

In addition, many of the show’s beloved puppet characters are recreated as brick-built figures, including Dog Chair, Jambi, Pterri, Magic Screen, Conky 2000, Chairry, Globey, Picture Phone, and more.
A Tribute to Paul Reubens
The late Paul Reubens, creator and star of Pee-wee’s Playhouse, is fondly remembered by fans who grew up with the show. The LEGO designer behind the Playhouse said the project was inspired by formative childhood memories of building with LEGO while watching Pee-wee’s Playhouse.

“The world of Pee-wee is silly and colorful, making this a very fun project to work on,” the designer wrote. “I stuffed references in every corner and filled the Playhouse with fun objects. Recreating the Playhouse in LEGO is a childhood dream that finally came true.”
How LEGO Ideas Works
LEGO Ideas is the company’s official platform for fan-submitted builds. Users can upload original creations, and if a project earns 10,000 supporters, it is reviewed by LEGO for possible production as an official retail set. If chosen, the fan designer also receives 1% of the product’s total net sales.
The set is currently gathering votes here from LEGO fans worldwide in hopes of reaching the milestone needed for consideration.
