Pixar’s Elio Brings an Intergalactic Adventure to Theaters

In Elio, audiences meet an alien-obsessed young boy. He unexpectedly discovers the answer: “What if the thing you were searching for found you first?” Elio, voiced by Yonas Kibreab, is transported to the Communiverse, a paradise teeming with intelligent life from across the galaxies. Mistaken as Earth’s leader, Elio must navigate his newfound responsibilities. He must forge unlikely friendships and manage an intergalactic crisis. All this happens while he seizes the chance to live out his ultimate dream.

The newly released trailer and poster show fans the film’s dazzling visuals and quirky alien characters. A trio of talented filmmakers directs Elio: Madeline Sharafian (Burrow), Domee Shi (Turning Red, Bao), and Adrian Molina (Coco). The project is produced by Mary Alice Drumm, who also worked on Pixar’s Academy Award-winning Coco.
