Prime Video’s Motorheads Hits the Gas This May

Prime Video sets premiere date for street-racing thriller Motorheads.

Prime Video has announced the premiere date and unveiled first-look images for Motorheads. Itis an upcoming young-adult action thriller packed with high-octane drama and teenage angst. The series will premiere globally on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, with all 10 episodes.

Motorheads explores themes of first love, first heartbreak, and that unforgettable moment of turning the key in your first car. Set in a once-bustling rust-belt town struggling to find its spark, the show follows a tight-knit crew of high school outsiders who bond over a shared passion for street racing. They find family and freedom behind the wheel as they navigate school politics and personal challenges.

The ensemble cast includes Ryan Phillippe (Shooter), Nathalie Kelley (The Baker and the Beauty), Michael Cimino (Love, Victor), Melissa Collazo (One Of Us Is Lying), Uriah Shelton (Girl Meets World), Nicolas Cantu (The Walking Dead: The World Beyond), Drake Rodger (The Winchesters), Josh Macqueen (Significant Others), Mia Healey (The Wilds), Matt Lanter (90210), Audrey Gerthoffer (Party of Five) and Johnna Dias-Watson (Wednesday).

John A. Norris, who also serves as showrunner, created, wrote, and executive produced the series. Neil Burger (Limitless, Divergent) directed the pilot and executive produced it.

Motorheads races onto Prime Video beginning Tuesday, May 20.
