Michael B. Jordan Faces His Darkest Role Yet in Sinners Trailer

From acclaimed director Ryan Coogler comes a fresh and terrifying tale, Sinners, starring Michael B. Jordan in a dual role. Known for his work on Black Panther and Creed, Coogler presents a gripping psychological thriller that takes audiences on a haunting journey.

*Sinners* follows twin brothers, both portrayed by Jordan, as they return to their hometown hoping to leave their troubled past behind. However, upon their arrival, they encounter a malevolent force threatening to consume them. As they wrestle with their demons, they soon discover that the true evil lies closer than they could have ever imagined. Watch the trailer below!

Written and directed by Coogler, the film boasts an impressive cast led by Jordan, known for his powerful performances in Black Panther and Creed. Joining him is Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee, True Grit), Jack O’Connell (Ferrari), Wunmi Mosaku (Passenger), Jayme Lawson (The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (True Lies), and Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods).

Coogler has once again assembled a talented team behind the scenes, reuniting with several of his Black Panther collaborators. Autumn Durald Arkapaw, who worked on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, serves as the film’s director of photography. Oscar-winning production designer Hannah Beachler returns to create the film’s eerie atmosphere. Editor Michael P. Shawver, Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson, and Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter also lend their expertise to bring Coogler’s chilling vision to life.

“Sinners” is a change of pace for Coogler, delving into fear, guilt, and redemption. It’s got a great storyline, a top-notch cast, and a talented production team, so this film is shaping up to be the standout thriller of 2025.
