Armageddon follows the story of the children of the world’s greatest secret agents. They unwittingly find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes mission. When a powerful game developer unleashes an evil computer virus that grants him control over all technology, the young heroes must become spies themselves. Their mission is to save their parents and, in the process, safeguard the entire world. Rodriguez said “The Spy Kids franchise was based on my growing up in a family of ten kids with an FBI special agent Uncle. It’s been very exciting for me and my kids to work on this film together as a family.”
