Nintendo launches MAR10 Day celebrating 40 years.

Nintendo launched its annual MAR10 Day celebration with a major surprise for fans of the Mushroom Kingdom. A brand-new trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie debuted alongside the announcement that Donald Glover will voice Yoshi in the upcoming animated adventure.
The film, produced by Nintendo and Illumination, will arrive in theaters nationwide on April 1. Tickets are already available as the studio builds excitement for Mario’s next cinematic journey into the cosmos.
A Cosmic New Look at Mario’s Next Movie Adventure
The new trailer offers fans another glimpse at the interstellar world of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Inspired by the beloved Super Mario Galaxy games, the story expands Mario’s universe beyond the Mushroom Kingdom and into a vibrant cosmic playground filled with gravity-bending worlds and larger-than-life threats.
The voice cast for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie brings together a stacked lineup of talent from across film, television and comedy. The ensemble includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach and Charlie Day as Luigi, alongside Jack Black as Bowser and Keegan-Michael Key as Toad.
The cast also features Benny Safdie, Donald Glover as Yoshi, Issa Rae, Luis Guzmán, Kevin Michael Richardson and Brie Larson, adding even more star power to Nintendo and Illumination’s latest animated adventure set in the beloved Mario universe.
In addition, the reveal of Donald Glover as Yoshi quickly became the headline announcement of MAR10 Day. Yoshi remains one of Nintendo’s most beloved characters, and Glover’s casting adds another major star to the film’s already high-profile voice lineup.
The trailer highlights colorful galaxies, adventurous new locations, and the familiar charm that helped make Mario one of the most recognizable characters in entertainment history.
