Legendary creators unite Superman and Spider-Man.

Superman/Spider-Man #1 will release on March 25, 2026, marking a rare crossover moment between two of the most iconic heroes in comics. The oversized one-shot will retail for $7.99 for the main cover and $8.99 for cardstock variants. This new collaboration celebrates 50 years of DC and Marvel crossovers and brings together some of the industry’s most acclaimed storytellers.
A new investigation pulls Clark Kent and Peter Parker together.
In the lead story from writer Mark Waid and artist Jorge Jiménez, Clark Kent and Peter Parker find themselves following the same lead on a breaking news story. As the investigation deepens, they uncover a conspiracy involving Brainiac and Doctor Octopus. Both villains stand to benefit from the mystery the two journalists stumble into, and their involvement raises the stakes for the heroes behind the notepads.

As Superman and Spider-Man enter the fight, their dual roles as reporters and protectors create a dynamic that drives the story forward. The creative team promises an adventure rooted in both character and spectacle, offering fans a fresh take on an iconic pairing.
Eight original crossover Superman and Spider-Man stories expand the celebration.
Additionally, several top creators contribute new stories that pair DC and Marvel characters in unexpected ways. For example, Tom King and Jim Lee deliver a tale featuring Lois Lane and Mary Jane Watson. Matt Fraction and Steve Lieber explore a story with Jimmy Olsen and Carnage. Sean Murphy takes readers into the future with Superboy (Legion) and Spider-Man 2099.

Furthermore, Gail Simone and Belén Ortega team up for a Power Girl and Punisher story, while Christopher Priest and Daniel Sampere craft a moment involving Superboy Prime visiting Spider-Man right after the hero acquires the black suit. Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott contribute a Daily Planet versus Daily Bugle race. The anthology even includes a story from Jeff Lemire and Rafa Sandoval that imagines Pa Kent and Uncle Ben bonding long before their famous nephews became heroes.
A star-studded range of variant covers
To complete the release, DC will offer a wide selection of open-to-order variant covers from artists including Jim Lee, Scott Williams, Alex Sinclair, Daniel Sampere, Tomeu Morey, David Nakayama, Gabriele Dell’Otto, Artgerm, Olivier Coipel, Adam Hughes, Arthur Adams, J. Scott Campbell, and others. Jiménez’s main cover will also be available as a foil variant.
Superman/Spider-Man #1 brings together decades of crossover history with new stories that highlight why these characters endure. With a packed roster of talent and a lineup of variant covers designed to stand out, the release offers something for collectors and longtime fans alike.
