The Conjuring TV Series Announced

The Conjuring universe is expanding into television.

Ed and Lorraine Warren played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga in The Conjuring.

Max, formerly HBO Max, is developing a drama series based on The Conjuring films. It was announced during Warner Bros. Discovery’s unveiling of the Max streaming service. The Conjuring producer Peter Safran will serve as an executive producer on the project, with James Wan in talks to executive produce. The television series will continue the story established in the feature films. All the films part of the shared universe have grossed over $2 Billion. The three Conjuring films feature Ed and Lorraine Warren played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who investigate and document paranormal events. The other franchise films are the Annabelle trilogy, The Curse of La Llorona, and The Nun. The Nun 2,” will be released on September 8, 2023.
