“The Watchers” has M. Night Shyamalan and his daughter teaming up.

“The Watchers” will hit theaters this summer, an enthralling tale crafted by the Shyamalan family legacy. From the creative mind of producer M. Night Shyamalan comes this gripping narrative. His daughter, Ishana Night Shyamalan, helmed it in her directorial debut. Based on the novel by A.M. Shine, the film thrusts viewers into Mina’s journey. She is a 28-year-old artist who finds herself stranded in the vast wilderness of western Ireland. As she seeks shelter, Mina unwittingly becomes ensnared with three strangers, all of whom are subjected to the menacing surveillance of enigmatic entities lurking within the shadows.
In “The Watchers,” the invisible specters are the true stars, their watchful gaze penetrating the darkness while remaining unseen themselves. The ensemble cast features acclaimed talent. It features Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan, and Olwen Fouere. Together, they breathe life into characters grappling with the eerie unknown under the directorial vision of Ishana Night Shyamalan. “The Watchers,” will release internationally on June 5, 2024, followed by its North American premiere on June 7, 2024.
