Henry Cavill is leaving The Witcher after this season.
Based on the bestselling fantasy series of books, The Witcher has dropped a season 3 trailer. It stars Henry Cavill Geralt of Rivia and tells an epic tale of fate and family. The series follows the intertwined destinies of three individuals in the vast world of the Continent. This will be Cavill’s last outing as Geralt of Rivia. Season 4 will have Liam Hemsworth will step into the role. Season 3, Volume 1, premieres June 29, 2023. Watch the trailer below!
Synopsis
As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture Ciri, Geralt takes her into hiding. He’s determined to protect his newly reunited family against those threatening to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to uncover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and betrayal. They must fight back, putting everything on the line — or risk losing each other forever.
