Cineverse announced today that The Toxic Avenger will soon bring its radioactive hero to home audiences with official digital and physical release dates. The TROMA action-comedy arrives on digital Digital September 30, 2025, followed by a physical release on October 28, 2025.

A Cult Classic Reimagined

Directed by Macon Blair, The Toxic Avenger won over fans and critics alike for its wild mix of dark humor, gory action, and heart. The film stars Peter Dinklage as janitor-turned-mutant-hero Winston Gooze, alongside Kevin Bacon, Elijah Wood, Jacob Tremblay, and Taylour Paige. Blair’s reboot, produced by Legendary Entertainment and distributed by Cineverse, draws inspiration from Lloyd Kaufman’s original Troma classic while carving out a new identity for modern audiences.
