TRON: Ares Lands on Digital December 2, With 4K Ultra HD and DVD Following in January

Tron: Ares is racing into homes this holiday season with a digital release beginning December 2. Fans can watch the film on Amazon Prime Video making it an early winter break option for sci-fi viewers. The momentum continues right into the new year as the film arrives on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD on January 6, 2026. This rollout gives longtime followers and new fans alike an easy way to dive into the newest chapter of the iconic series without waiting long between formats.

A Bold New Chapter for the Tron Franchise

Directed by Joachim Rønning, Tron: Ares builds on ideas introduced in Tron (1982) and Tron: Legacy (2010) while pushing the saga into new territory.   1. TRON: Ares was a GREAT movie that didn’t get the audience it deserved, but is a worthy successor to the original TRON movie. Hopefully, Disney won’t give up so quickly and try to nurture the genre a bit more …
