Netflix debuts the trailer for Season 2 of Tim Burton’s ‘Wednesday’.

Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Wednesday, the hit series from visionary director Tim Burton. The show returns this summer with a two-part release: Part 1 on August 6 and Part 2 on September 3.
Jenna Ortega reprises her role as the delightfully deadpan Wednesday Addams, who is once again navigating the eerie corridors of Nevermore Academy. With fresh threats and familiar faces around every corner, Wednesday finds herself entangled in new supernatural mysteries while managing the chaos of family, friendships, and foes old and new.
This season, audiences will see a bigger role for the Addams family, including the return of Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez Addams (Luis Guzmán), who will now have a more consistent presence at Nevermore—much to their daughter’s dismay. Wednesday’s younger brother, Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez), joins the gothic fray and begins his own bizarre journey at the academy.

Behind the scenes, creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are back to helm the spine-tingling second season, along with executive producer Tim Burton, who also directs alongside Paco Cabezas and Angela Robinson.

The cast includes returning stars Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Billie Piper, and Steve Buscemi, as well as newcomers like Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Haley Joel Osment, and Christopher Lloyd.

Packed with sharp wit, creepy charm, and a fresh wave of macabre twists, Wednesday Season 2 promises to raise the stakes while staying true to the series’ darkly comedic roots.
Wednesday Season 2 premieres exclusively on Netflix here.
