SummerSlam 2025 night two features chaos in the cage, champions holding strong, and Lesnar dropping a bombshell.

The second night of WWE’s SummerSlam 2025 delivered on every level—championship clashes, hardcore carnage, surprise returns, and emotional farewells. From Naomi holding on to her title in a fierce Triple Threat to Cody Rhodes reclaiming the Undisputed WWE Championship from John Cena, this was a night fans won’t forget.
Naomi Survives Triple Threat to Retain Women’s World Championship

Naomi fended off both Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY in a hard-hitting Triple Threat Match to remain Women’s World Champion.
Early teamwork between Ripley and SKY fell apart when miscommunication gave Naomi the edge. What followed was a whirlwind of offense—619s, poisonranas, moonsaults, and big-time power moves from all three Superstars.
Naomi’s Split-Legged Moonsault was countered, but she ultimately took advantage of Ripley’s Avalanche Riptide on SKY, rolling up The Eradicator with a handful of tights to steal the win and retain her title.
Wyatt Sicks Win Carnage-Filled Six-Pack TLC Match

In one of the wildest tag matches in recent memory, Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy of The Wyatt Sicks retained their WWE Tag Team Titles in a brutal Six-Pack TLC Match.
With The Dudley Boyz and Hardy Boyz watching from ringside, chaos erupted quickly. Tables were smashed, ladders shattered, and bodies flew as teams like #DIY, Street Profits, and Legado Del Fantasma threw everything at the champs.

Andrade neutralized Uncle Howdy, but in the end, Gacy climbed the ladder with Lumis holding the base steady, securing the win amidst the wreckage.
Becky Lynch Ends Valkyria’s Title Hopes in Violent Last Chance Match

In a vicious No Disqualification showdown, Becky Lynch retained her Women’s Intercontinental Title against Lyra Valkyria, who can now no longer challenge for the belt while Lynch holds it.
From steel chairs to fire extinguishers to a zip tie-assisted bear hug, this bout tested the limits. After Bayley refused to help Lynch and got involved in the melee, Valkyria nearly pulled off the upset with a top-rope table spot.
But one misfired chain-wrapped punch from Bayley gave Lynch the opening she needed to hit a final Man-handle Slam and walk out victorious.
Solo Sikoa Retains in Steel Cage Chaos

Solo Sikoa held onto the United States Championship in a brutal steel cage battle with Jacob Fatu, thanks to the help from The MFTs.
The two Samoan powerhouses tore into each other, using the cage like a weapon. Fatu nearly had the win before being handcuffed to the top of the structure, only to break free and drag Sikoa back down. But interference from Talla Tonga slammed the cage door into Fatu’s head, letting Sikoa escape and retain his title.
Post-match, Fatu unleashed a moonsault off the top of the cage, taking out Tonga Loa and JC Mateo in a jaw-dropping moment.
Dirty Dom Outsmarts AJ Styles to Keep Intercontinental Gold

Dominik Mysterio stayed one step ahead of AJ Styles in a sneaky, skillful defense of the Intercontinental Championship. From reversing the Phenomenal Forearm into a Michinoku Driver to surviving a Calf Crusher by removing his own boot, Dirty Dom pulled out every trick in the book.
After feigning another Eddie Guerrero-style chair fake-out, Mysterio used the chaos to strike Styles with his own boot and hit a Frog Splash to seal the win.
Cody Rhodes Reclaims the WWE Championship in Brutal War with Cena

In the emotional, bloody main event, Cody Rhodes overcame John Cena in a Street Fight to once again become Undisputed WWE Champion.
Weapons flew early, and so did bodies. Rhodes weathered steel steps, crutches, and an Attitude Adjustment through the announce table. Cena delivered a trifecta of finishers, including a Super AA, but Rhodes wouldn’t stay down.
After an Avalanche Cutter through a table and a final Cross Rhodes, Rhodes got the three-count. The two Superstars embraced post-match, with Rhodes honoring Cena by leaving him alone in the ring.
Lesnar Returns—and Flattens Cena
Just when fans thought the night was over, Brock Lesnar made a jaw-dropping return. The Beast Incarnate stormed the ring and obliterated John Cena with a devastating F-5, sending shockwaves through MetLife Stadium and setting up a new feud just as SummerSlam went off the air.

SummerSlam 2025 Night Two proved once again why it’s WWE’s biggest party of the summer—title changes, career-defining performances, and the return of Brock Lesnar all made for a can’t-miss event.
