Weapons is from the twisted mind behind Barbarian.
From New Line Cinema and Barbarian filmmaker Zach Cregger comes a chilling new horror thriller, Weapons, set to debut exclusively in theaters on August 8.
Written and directed by Cregger, Weapons centers on a terrifying mystery: all but one child from the same class vanishes without a trace, disappearing at the exact same time on the same night. The shocking event sends a ripple of fear through the community, as residents are left to question whether the culprit is human or something much more sinister.

The film stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, and Cary Christopher, with Benedict Wong and Amy Madigan. The haunting score is composed by Ryan Holladay, Hays Holladay, and Cregger himself.
Following the success of his breakout horror hit Barbarian, Cregger returns with another wholly original story that promises to keep audiences on edge until the very last frame.
Weapons opens only in theaters on August 8.
