Russell Crowe stars in The Exorcism.

Miramax is set to unleash spine-chilling suspense with its upcoming horror film The Exorcism, featuring Academy Award winner Russell Crowe. The film will be released in an exclusive theatrical release starting June 7. In this harrowing tale, Crowe portrays a troubled actor whose world unravels during the filming of a supernatural horror movie. As he descends into chaos, his estranged daughter, Lee, grapples with whether his erratic behavior stems from a relapse into addiction or if darker forces are at play. Watch the trailer below!

An ensemble cast joins Crowe in this eerie journey. It includes Sam Worthington, Chloe Bailey, Adam Goldberg, and David Hyde Pierce. The film is helmed by Joshua John Miller, with a script crafted by M.A. Fortin and Joshua John Miller. Interestingly, “The Exorcism” marks Crowe’s return to the exorcism subgenre after his role in Sony’s “The Pope’s Exorcist.” It raked in nearly $77 million worldwide just two years prior.

The film’s premise, coupled with Crowe’s seasoned talent and the creative vision of its director and writers, sets the stage for a gripping cinematic experience. So Prepare for a pulse-pounding encounter with “The Exorcism” as Miramax delivers a fresh perspective on horror, promising thrills, chills, and a descent into the unknown.
