Paul Giamatti’s superb and nuanced performance earned him the title of Male Performance of the Year for his role in “The Holdovers.” His ability to fully embody characters with great authenticity demonstrates his undeniable talent, which greatly contributed to the success of the Christmas comedy-drama directed by Alexander Payne. Female Performance of the Year: Lily Gladstone – Killers of the Flower Moon

Lily Gladstone’s outstanding performance in “Killers of the Flower Moon” has won her the Female Performance of the Year title. She has captured the hearts of audiences with her exceptional ability to convey genuine emotions in her role. In this epic Western crime drama, directed and produced by Martin Scorsese, Gladstone left an indelible mark. Scorsese collaborated with Eric Roth to co-write the script, which was adapted from the 2017 non-fiction book by David Grann. The movie is set in 1920s Oklahoma, and it revolves around a series of murders of Osage members and their relatives in the Osage Nation following the discovery of oil on tribal land. The tribal members, who held mineral rights on their reservation, faced a threat to their wealth from a corrupt local political figure.

His latest cinematic venture, “Oppenheimer,” a monumental biographical thriller, is a testament to Nolan’s remarkable talent. The film, written and directed by Nolan himself, features Cillian Murphy, who portrays J. Robert Oppenheimer. “Oppenheimer” marks Nolan’s first venture into first-person screenplay writing. This intentional choice was made to convey the narrative from Oppenheimer’s unique perspective.

  1. My favorite animated movie of year is TMNT Mutant Mayhem. My favorite horror is Talk to Me. My favorite Visionary Director of year is Gareth Edwards for The Creator, because he made a $80 million look like a $300 million film.
