Super Awards 2024 Winners Include Pedro Pascal, Godzilla, Spider-Man and Many More

Winners announced for 4th Annual Critics Choice Super Awards.

The Critics Choice Association (CCA) recently announced the winners of the 4th annual Critics Choice Super Awards, which recognized outstanding achievements in superhero, science fiction/fantasy, horror, and action genres in both movies and television. Leading the pack in the film categories, “Godzilla Minus One,” “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning,” “Poor Things,” and “Talk to Me” each claimed two wins, demonstrating their excellence and resonance with audiences. “Godzilla Minus One” roared to victory as the Best Science Fiction/Fantasy Movie, with Godzilla himself earning the prestigious title of Best Villain in a Movie.

Tom Cruise and Rebecca Ferguson soared to success, clinching the titles of Best Actor and Actress in an Action Movie for their thrilling performances in “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning.” Mark Ruffalo and Emma Stone enchanted audiences with their roles in “Poor Things,” securing the awards for Best Actor and Actress in a Science Fiction/Fantasy Movie, respectively. Meanwhile, “Talk to Me” sent shivers down spines, earning the accolade for Best Horror Movie, with Sophie Wilde’s haunting portrayal earning her the title of Best Actress in a Horror Movie.

In television, “The Last of Us” emerged as the undisputed champion.

It swept all seven categories for which it was nominated. The gripping series captivated audiences and critics alike, earning recognition in both the Superhero and Horror genres. Pedro Pascal’s masterful performance garnered him dual honors for Best Actor in a Superhero Series and Best Actor in a Horror Series. At the same time, Bella Ramsey captivated viewers with her compelling portrayal, earning her the title of Best Actress in both genres. Melanie Lynskey’s chilling depiction in “The Last of Us” also secured her the award for Best Villain in a Series.
