Relive the terror with a Limited-Edition VHS of Alien: Romulus.

LOS ANGELES—20th Century Studios is set to release the sci-fi horror thriller Alien: Romulus as a limited-edition VHS on Dec. 3. Director Fede Alvarez announced the collectible release at a special Beyond Fest screening at the Aero Theater. Alvarez’s film takes the legendary franchise back to its roots.
The new installment tells a chilling story of a group of young colonizers. While scavenging the depths of a derelict space station, they encounter the deadliest life form in the universe. It introduces a brand-new storyline, creatures, and characters.
The limited-edition VHS is an ultimate collectible for fans, paying homage to the original era of the Alien films. Alongside the VHS, Alien: Romulus will be released on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on Dec. 3. The physical releases will include exclusive bonus features. These include behind-the-scenes content and featurettes with Alvarez. Also included are original Alien director Ridley Scott and alternate and extended scenes.
Starring Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu, Alien: Romulus is directed by Fede Alvarez. The screenplay is written by Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues. It is based on characters created by Dan O’Bannon and Ronald Shusett. Ridley Scott, who directed the original Alien and later films Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, serves as a producer.
Fans of the iconic franchise can mark their calendars for Dec. 3 to experience Alien: Romulus in retro style on VHS and in modern formats, reliving the terror all over again.
