Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover Return in Predator: Killer of Killers Surprise Ending

Hall H at Comic-Con erupts as Predator franchise icons return in a surprise scene now streaming on Hulu.

Predator fans were in for a major surprise during the first panel at Hall H, where over 6,500 attendees—many wearing Predator masks—gathered for an action-packed showcase of what’s next for the sci-fi franchise.

The panel kicked off with the stars of 20th Century Studios’ upcoming film Predator: Badlands, Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, joined by director and producer Dan Trachtenberg. But the true showstopper came when Trachtenberg revealed an exclusive alternate ending to the recent animated film Predator: Killer of Killers—featuring none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover.

The alternate ending premiere is now streaming on Hulu.

The surprise reveal brought roaring applause and nostalgic cheers, as the two legendary stars reprised their iconic roles from 1987’s Predator and 1990’s Predator 2, respectively. The new ending is now strreaming exclusively on Hulu.

“In the ‘Predator’ movies, the Predator never wins. They are supposed to be the greatest warrior in the galaxy, and they are always the bad guy,” said Trachtenberg during the panel. “The Predator is not a friendly creature… it is ferocious, a badass, and very much an anti-hero. And I was really interested in switching that up and pairing a Predator with someone totally unexpected and taking these two unique characters on an incredibly emotional and visceral journey.”

Also on hand was legendary creature designer Alec Gillis, who briefly discussed the development of Killer of Killers and how the animated format allowed for new levels of brutality and visual storytelling. His comments teased even more surprises in store for longtime fans.

In one of the most immersive moments of the event, a towering, 7-foot-tall Predator stalked Hall H using heat signature tech to “scan” the crowd, before locking eyes with moderator Kevin Smith. The experience added a visceral punch to the excitement, building anticipation for Badlands and beyond.

First look at Predator: Badlands

The panel concluded with an exclusive screening of the first 15 minutes of Badlands, which drew gasps for its gritty tone and high-stakes action. Fans were then treated to a collectible SDCC-exclusive poster and a group photo op in their Predator masks with Smith, the cast, and filmmakers.

With Schwarzenegger and Glover officially back in the fold, and a new chapter on the horizon, the franchise is once again hunting on all cylinders.
