Avengers: Endgame Encore Tickets On Sale With Doomsday Sneak Peek

Marvel Studios brings Avengers: Endgame back to theaters with an exclusive first look at Avengers: Doomsday.

Marvel fans have another reason to assemble at the movies. Marvel Studios is bringing one of its biggest blockbusters back to theaters with AVENGERS ENDGAME: ENCORE, a special presentation featuring an exclusive look at AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY.

Tickets are officially on sale for the theatrical return of AVENGERS: ENDGAME, which will begin playing in IMAX and select Premium Large Format theaters on September 25, 2026.

AVENGERS ENDGAME Returns to Theaters

Originally released in 2019, AVENGERS: ENDGAME served as the culmination of more than a decade of interconnected Marvel Cinematic Universe storytelling.

The movie picks up following the devastating events of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, with the surviving Avengers attempting to cope with Thanos wiping out half of all life in the universe.

Their discovery of a potential way to reverse the Snap ultimately reunites the heroes for a time-spanning mission through the MCU’s history and one of the franchise’s largest battles.

Anthony Russo and Joe Russo directed the film, with Kevin Feige producing. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee served as executive producers.

The massive ensemble included Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Josh Brolin as Thanos.

ENDGAME became a global phenomenon during its original theatrical run and briefly overtook AVATAR as the highest-grossing movie of all time worldwide.

AVENGERS DOOMSDAY Sneak Peek Included

The biggest addition to AVENGERS ENDGAME: ENCORE is a special look at Marvel Studios’ next Avengers event.

Moviegoers attending the Encore presentation will receive an exclusive look at AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY, which arrives in theaters December 18, 2026.

Marvel is offering another incentive for audiences who seek out premium screenings. Fans seeing ENDGAME: ENCORE on IMAX and Infinity Vision-certified screens will receive an additional DOOMSDAY sneak peek.

That makes the re-release a direct theatrical bridge between the conclusion of the Infinity Saga and the MCU’s upcoming Avengers blockbuster.

What Is Infinity Vision?

Alongside IMAX, AVENGERS ENDGAME: ENCORE will play in theaters certified under Infinity Vision, a new Premium Large Format certification.

According to the announcement, Infinity Vision-certified auditoriums are designed to guarantee an enhanced presentation featuring large screens, bright images and high-quality sound.

The format gives audiences another premium option for revisiting the enormous final battle against Thanos while getting an early look at what’s ahead for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

The Avengers Assemble Again Before DOOMSDAY

The timing makes ENDGAME: ENCORE more than a traditional theatrical re-release.

Seven years after ENDGAME, Marvel Studios is using one of the MCU’s defining movies to build anticipation for its next major Avengers chapter.

AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY also marks the return of Anthony and Joe Russo to the Avengers franchise. The filmmakers previously directed CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR and AVENGERS: ENDGAME.

Robert Downey Jr. is also returning to the MCU in a dramatically different role as Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom.

With DOOMSDAY arriving less than three months after the Encore presentation begins, Marvel fans will have an opportunity to revisit the conclusion of the Infinity Saga on the big screen before getting an exclusive taste of the MCU’s next Avengers event.

AVENGERS ENDGAME: ENCORE begins playing in theaters September 25, 2026.

AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY opens in theaters December 18, 2026.
