Michael Keaton returns for “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.”

Get ready to say his name three times again because Beetlejuice is back! Tim Burton, the Oscar-nominated visionary director, and Michael Keaton, the star and Oscar nominee, are reuniting for the highly anticipated sequel, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.” This follow-up comes over three decades after the original “Beetlejuice” charmed audiences and secured its place as a cult classic. Keaton reprises his iconic role as the mischievous ghost Beetlejuice alongside Oscar nominee Winona Ryder, who returns as Lydia Deetz. Joining them is two-time Emmy winner Catherine O’Hara as Delia Deetz. The new cast includes Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti Jenna Ortega as Lydia’s daughter, Astrid, and Willem Dafoe.


In the sequel, the Deetz family is struck by an unexpected tragedy.
It brings three generations back to their home in Winter River. Lydia’s life is further upended when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic. Accidentally opening a portal to the Afterlife, Astrid sets off a chain of events that bring Beetlejuice back, ready to unleash his signature brand of chaos.
Tim Burton directs from a screenplay by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. The creative team behind the scenes includes director of photography Haris Zambarloukos, production designer Mark Scruton, editor Jay Prychidny, costume designer Colleen Atwood, creature effects and special makeup FX supervisor Neal Scanlan, Oscar-nominated composer Danny Elfman, and Oscar-winning hair and makeup designer Christine Blundell.

This Warner Bros. Pictures presentation promises to deliver the unique blend of dark humor and whimsical fantasy that fans of the original love. “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” will be released exclusively in theaters and IMAX on September 6, 2024, in the United States. The international release starts on September 4, 2024. Get ready for a return to the bizarre and delightful world where anything can happen when you say his name three times.
