Straw Hats return as ONE PIECE Season 2 launches with Special fan screenings.

The Straw Hat Pirates are heading back to the Grand Line, and fans can celebrate in a big way.

In honor of the Season 2 premiere, ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line will debut March 10 on Netflix, with the first two episodes also screening in select theaters for special fan events across North America and Japan. The limited theatrical event gives fans a chance to experience the action-packed return on the big screen alongside fellow pirates.

Screenings will take place in more than 200 theaters in the United States, Canada, and Japan. Showings in the U.S. and Canada begin at 6 p.m. local time on March 10, timed with the global Netflix premiere.

Tickets for U.S. and Canadian fan screenings go on sale Thursday, Feb. 26, at 8 a.m. PT and 11 a.m. ET. Participating theater chains include AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Alamo, and Cineplex, with additional locations in Canada and Japan.

What to Expect in Season 2

Season 2 raises the stakes as Monkey D. Luffy and his crew venture into the legendary Grand Line, a dangerous and unpredictable stretch of sea filled with bizarre islands, powerful enemies, and new allies.

The live-action series stars Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, alongside Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. New cast member Charithra Chandran joins the adventure, along with an expanded ensemble that includes Joe Manganiello, Katey Sagal, and David Dastmalchian.

As the Straw Hats push deeper into the Grand Line, the world grows bigger and more dangerous. The theatrical experience offers fans the chance to laugh, cheer, and gasp together before the rest of the season unfolds at home.

Season 2 is led by co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers Matt Owens and Joe Tracz.

A Global Phenomenon Returns

Based on the best-selling manga by Eiichiro Oda, ONE PIECE remains Japan’s highest-selling manga series of all time, with more than 500 million copies sold worldwide across more than 100 volumes.

When the live-action adaptation premiered in 2023, it quickly became a global hit. The series spent eight weeks in Netflix’s Global Top 10, reached No. 1 in more than 75 countries, and became the first English-language Netflix series to debut at No. 1 in Japan. The show has surpassed 100 million views and ranks among the platform’s most downloaded titles.

The adaptation earned 11 nominations at the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Young Teen Series. The franchise continues to expand with immersive experiences at Netflix House.

Catch ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line in select theaters on March 10 or stream Season 2 exclusively on Netflix the same day. The series has already secured a Season 3 renewal, ensuring the adventure will continue. The journey to become King of the Pirates is only getting bigger from here.
