Bruce Springsteen’s film focuses on his album Nebraska.

Disney and 20th Century Studios have announced their collaboration on a new film called “Deliver Me From Nowhere.” This feature film will explore the making of Bruce Springsteen’s iconic 1982 album, “Nebraska.” It is based on Warren Zanes’ book “Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska.” The film offers an intimate look into the creative process behind the legendary album. Springsteen and his manager, Jon Landau, are actively involved in the project, ensuring authenticity and insight into the artist’s journey.
Scott Cooper, the renowned filmmaker known for his work on “Crazy Heart” and “Hostiles,” will both write and direct the film, bringing his unique vision to the story. Emmy winner Jeremy Allen White will star in the film as The Boss. The production team consists of Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Eric Robinson, Warren Zanes, and Scott Stuber, all of whom are well-versed in cinematic storytelling.
“Nebraska” marked a departure from Springsteen’s previous work.
It showcases a more stripped-down and introspective sound. The book and film will explore the artistic journey behind the album, shedding light on Springsteen’s creative process and the cultural impact of his music. With the full support of Springsteen himself and a talented team behind the project, the film promises to be a must-see for music lovers and cinephiles alike.
