Christina Ricci was honored with the 2,803rd Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Acclaimed actress Christina Ricci received the 2,803rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, March 6. The ceremony was held at 6258 Hollywood Boulevard, in front of the W Hollywood Hotel. Ricci was recognized in the Motion Pictures category, joining an esteemed list of entertainment legends.
Emcee Sophie Flay hosted the event, which featured special guests including director Patty Jenkins and actor, producer, and writer Dan Bucatinsky. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which has overseen the Walk of Fame since its inception in 1960, organized the ceremony, continuing its tradition of honoring artists whose work has left an indelible mark on the industry.
A Storied Career in Film and Television

From her remarkable start as a young talent to her enduring impact on the silver screen, Christina Ricci’s film career has been nothing short of extraordinary, earning her a well-deserved place among Hollywood’s brightest stars,” said Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer.
Ricci is a two-time Golden Globe, SAG, and Emmy nominee. She has built a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most respected and versatile actors. Ricci is currently reprising her Emmy-nominated role as Misty Quigley in the third season of Showtime’s acclaimed drama series Yellowjackets. She also appeared in Tim Burton’s Wednesday. It was Netflix’s second most-watched English-language series of all time and received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series.
Christina Ricci’s film career began in her childhood.
It started with her breakthrough roles in Mermaids (1990), The Addams Family (1991), and Casper (1995). Her performance in The Opposite of Sex (1998) earned her Golden Globe, American Comedy Award, and Independent Spirit Award nominations. She has continued to take on a diverse range of roles. Het notable credits include Sleepy Hollow (1999), Monster (2003), Black Snake Moan (2006), Speed Racer (2008), Bel Ami (2012), and The Matrix Resurrections (2021).
She recently wrapped production on Guns Up, an action comedy in which she stars alongside Kevin James. The film, directed by Edward Drake, follows an ex-cop turned mob henchman who must get his family out of the city after a job goes wrong. It is slated for a 2025 release.
In addition to her film work, Ricci has made a lasting impact on television. She starred in Z: The Beginning of Everything, The Lizzie Borden Chronicles, and Pan Am, and has made guest appearances in Ally McBeal, Grey’s Anatomy, Saving Grace, and The Good Wife. Her role in Grey’s Anatomy earned her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.

Ricci’s acting career began at age seven when a local theater critic noticed her in a school Christmas play. One year later, she made her professional debut in Mermaids, playing the daughter of Cher’s character. She quickly gained fame for her portrayal of Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and its sequel, Addams Family Values. She also starred in the family blockbuster Casper. For her early success, Ricci was honored with the NATO ShowEast Star of the Year Award and the Star of Tomorrow Award from the Motion Picture Bookers Club.
