Juror #2 will be in theaters November 1st, 2024.
From legendary filmmaker Clint Eastwood comes Juror #2. It is a gripping courtroom drama that explores the moral complexities of the legal system. The film stars Nicholas Hoult as Justin Kemp. He is a family man serving on a jury for a high-profile murder trial. Kemp soon finds himself facing a harrowing moral dilemma that could sway the jury’s verdict and potentially convict or exonerate the accused.
Hoult, known for his roles in The Menu and the upcoming Superman reboot, leads an ensemble cast. It includes Oscar nominee Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense, Mickey 17), Oscar winner J.K. Simmons (Whiplash), and Chris Messina (Air). The film also features Gabriel Basso (The Night Agent), Zoey Deutch (The Politician), Cedric Yarbrough (Unfrosted), Leslie Bibb (Palm Royale), and Kiefer Sutherland (Designated Survivor). Additionally, Amy Aquino (Bosch) and Adrienne C. Moore (Orange Is the New Black) round out the cast. Watch the trailer below!
Eastwood directs from a screenplay by Jonathan Abrams (Escape Plan). The film blends his signature style of tense, character-driven storytelling with the ethical quandaries surrounding Kemp’s situation. The film marks another collaboration between Eastwood and his long-time creative team, including director of photography Yves Bélanger, Oscar-winning editor Joel Cox (Unforgiven), and BAFTA-nominated costume designer Deborah Hopper (Changeling). The original score was composed by Mark Mancina.
The film is expected to captivate audiences with its thought-provoking narrative and powerhouse performances from its ensemble cast, adding another compelling chapter to Eastwood’s storied career.
