Cody Rhodes pulls off an epic victory as he wins the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL.
At WrestleMania XL, Cody Rhodes etched his name in the annals of WWE history. He has finally captured the prestigious WWE Championship. The event in Philadelphia was a testament to Rhodes’ skill and determination. On the second night, he once again faced Roman Reigns in a brutal match under the ‘bloodlines rules,” where anything goes.
The match was a rollercoaster of emotions.
Both wrestlers were fighting relentlessly to emerge victorious in WrestleMania XL. They traded bone-crushing blows, and the action quickly escalated into a brawl, spilling out into the audience. Reigns seemed to gain the upper hand. However, Cody Rhodes mounted a comeback, rallying the fans behind him with a series of powerful moves. The momentum swung back and forth as both wrestlers showcased their finishing moves on each other, with Reigns ultimately putting Rhodes through an announce table with a devastating powerbomb.
Rhodes hit a Cross Rhodes on Reigns, but Jimmy Uso interfered. This led to a brawl between Jey and Jimmy Uso, which ended with both Usos going through a table. Cody Rhodes then speared Roman Reigns through the barricade, and John Cena entered the ring to clear the ring of Solo and Roman.
The Rock then entered the ring to face Cena.
They stared each other down like Hogan and Rock at WrestleMania 18 before the infamous Rock Bottom. The Undertaker appeared out of nowhere to chokeslam The Rock, and Reigns struck Seth Rollins in the back with a steel chair as a callback to The Shield’s breakup. Cody fired up, dropped Reigns with multiple Cross Rhodes, and pinned him for the final count.
This victory was a culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance for Cody Rhodes. Following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Dusty Rhodes, Cody has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with in professional wrestling. As WrestleMania XL drew to a close, the image of Cody Rhodes hoisting the WWE Championship belt high above his head will be forever etched in fans’ memories. With his victory, Rhodes has cemented his place among the all-time greats of WWE, leaving a legacy that will be remembered for generations.
