Marvel drops “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 trailer, sets Disney+ premiere date.
Marvel Television has revealed a new trailer for the second season of “Daredevil: Born Again.” The series returns March 24 at 6 p.m. PT, exclusively on Disney+. The new season runs eight episodes. This chapter leans hard into the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s street-level corner. New York sits at the center of the chaos. The story frames the city as a prize and a battleground.
Season 2 is created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord, and Matt Corman. Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock, the blind attorney behind the Daredevil mask. Vincent D’Onofrio reprises Wilson Fisk, now operating with official power as New York City’s mayor.
Mayor Fisk Declares War on Daredevil
The trailer positions Fisk as a public leader with a private mission. He aims to crush the city underfoot. He also wants to eliminate public enemy No. 1, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante.
Matt does not meet that threat in a courtroom. Instead, he fights from the shadows. He targets Fisk’s corrupt empire. The season frames Matt’s goal as saving his home and himself. Marvel’s official tagline captures the mood in three sharp beats: “Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.”
Familiar Faces Return, With Two Big Additions
Several key characters return for the new run. Deborah Ann Woll is back as Karen Page. Ayelet Zurer returns as Vanessa Fisk. Wilson Bethel reprises Benjamin Poindexter, also known as Bullseye. Margarita Levieva returns as Heather Glenn.
The season also brings a long-awaited reunion for Marvel TV fans. Krysten Ritter returns as Jessica Jones. Her comeback links two fan-favorite street heroes in one story.
Another new addition arrives with a familiar name. Matthew Lillard joins the cast as the mysterious Mr. Charles. Marvel has not shared full details about the character. That secrecy fuels the trailer’s tension.
Season 2 premieres on Disney+ on March 24th.
