‘Deep Cover’ brings high-stakes laughs to Prime Video this Summer.
Action and comedy collide in Deep Cover. It is a fast-paced film that follows an unlikely trio as they navigate the dangerous underworld of London’s crime scene. The film is set to debut on Prime Video on June 12, 2025. It is directed by Tom Kingsley and written by Derek Connolly & Colin Trevorrow and Ben Ashenden & Alexander Owen.
The film stars Bryce Dallas Howard as Kat. She is an aspiring comedian who questions whether she has missed her shot at success. When an undercover police officer offers her an unconventional opportunity, she teams up with two of her improv students, Marlon (Orlando Bloom) and Hugh (Nick Mohammed), to infiltrate the city’s gangland by posing as dangerous criminals. What starts as an elaborate act quickly spirals out of control, leading to high-stakes encounters filled with action and comedy.
Rounding out the ensemble cast are Paddy Considine, Sonoya Mizuno, Ian McShane, and Sean Bean. The film is produced by Colin Trevorrow, Walter F. Parkes, and Laurie MacDonald.
With a mix of sharp humor and pulse-pounding action, Deep Cover promises an entertaining ride when it premieres exclusively on Prime Video this summer.
