Descendants and ZOMBIES Collide Again In New Concert Disney+ Special

Disney turns the “Descendants/ZOMBIES” tour into a concert special with backstage access.

The “Descendants/ZOMBIES Worlds Collide: Concert Special” is headed to Disney Channel and Disney+, giving families a front-row way to relive the arena tour that blended the music of Disney’s “Descendants” and “ZOMBIES” franchises. The special premieres Feb. 19 on Disney Channel and streams the next day on Disney+.

The “Descendants/ZOMBIES Worlds Collide Tour” played to sold-out crowds in more than 40 arenas across North America last summer. The concert special captures the high-energy performances while adding exclusive backstage access, never-before-seen footage, and moments from life on the road.

Both franchises have built huge followings

“Descendants” centers on the next generation of Disney villains and heroes, following kids who are pushed to define themselves beyond their parents’ reputations. Across its movies and spinoffs, the series leans into friendship, identity and choosing your own path, with musical numbers that became go-to rewatches for Disney audiences.

“ZOMBIES” puts a monster-mash spin on a classic high school story, blending cheer, sports and young romance with a message about acceptance. The films focus on different communities learning to live together, using music and dance as the bridge.

That shared DNA is why the “Worlds Collide” concept clicks. It’s two fandoms that speak the same language: big-hearted, high-energy, and built to be sung at full volume.
