Gru’s back in action in Despicable Me 4.
In the long-awaited return of Gru and his mischievous Minions, Illumination’s latest installment, Despicable Me 4, promises a thrilling adventure. The seven-year hiatus from the original Despicable Me series has only amplified excitement. In this new chapter, Gru (voiced by Steve Carrell) finds himself facing a new set of challenges. Alongside his partner Lucy (voiced by Kristen Wiig) and their three daughters—Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier), and Agnes (Madison Polan)—Gru welcomes a new addition to the family: Gru Jr., who brings unexpected chaos and mischief into Gru’s life. The plot thickens as Gru encounters his latest nemesis, Maxime Le Mal (played by Will Ferrell), and his cunning girlfriend Valentina (voiced by Sofia Vergara), setting off a series of events that force the family into a daring escape.
The film introduces a fresh lineup of characters.
They are voiced by Joey King, Stephen Colbert, and Chloe Fineman. Returning are fan favorites such as Pierre Coffin as the iconic Minions and Steve Coogan as Silas Ramsbottom. It is directed by Chris Renaud, one of the original minds behind the Minions. Despicable Me 4 promises to deliver the same irreverent humor and heart-pounding action that fans have come to love from the franchise.
