Disney Believe Reveals Encanto Musical, Frozen Dining and More

Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship will feature a world-first “Encanto” musical, immersive dining, themed lounges and Caribbean sailings from Florida.

Disney Cruise Line has officially unveiled the Disney Believe, offering a closer look at the entertainment, dining, themed venues, and accommodations coming to the newest addition to its expanding fleet.

The ship will celebrate Disney characters who believe in themselves, follow their dreams, and embrace the possibilities of a better tomorrow. From the magical world of “Encanto” and the snowy landscapes of “Frozen” to the oceans of “Moana” and “The Little Mermaid,” the Disney Believe will bring together some of the company’s most recognizable stories.

Disney revealed the new experiences during a special presentation on Oct. 7, confirming plans for the world’s first stage adaptation of “Encanto,” an all-new “Frozen” family dining experience, a “Zootopia”-inspired entertainment venue, and several unique spaces designed for families and adults.

The Disney Believe will set sail Dec. 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with general bookings opening Oct. 19, 2026.

Disney Believe Brings a New Theme to the Wish Class

The Disney Believe will become the fourth ship in Disney Cruise Line’s Wish class, joining the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny.

Each ship follows a creative theme that connects its entertainment, venues, and design. The Disney Wish centers on enchantment, the Disney Treasure embraces adventure, and the Disney Destiny draws inspiration from heroes and villains.

The Disney Believe will focus on promise and possibility, celebrating characters who find the courage to pursue their dreams and discover something greater than themselves.

The ship’s Grand Hall will bring the world of “Moana” to life, with a statue of Moana alongside her companions Pua and Heihei welcoming guests into the central gathering space.

Its design will incorporate inspiration from the Pacific Islands and the ocean, including colorful carpeting with bioluminescent details and a chandelier modeled after the movement of the sea. Disney has even hidden the heart of Te Fiti within the chandelier.

Tinker Bell will decorate the bow of the Disney Believe, while larger-than-life sculptures of Woody and Buzz Lightyear from “Toy Story” will appear on the stern.

The ship will continue Disney Cruise Line’s tradition of connecting familiar characters and stories with the spaces guests experience throughout their vacation.

Encanto Makes Its Stage Debut at Sea

One of the Disney Believe’s biggest entertainment announcements is “Disney Encanto,” the world’s first stage adaptation of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award-winning film.

The production will debut exclusively aboard the ship in the Walt Disney Theatre, following Mirabel Madrigal as she attempts to save her family and their magical home.

Disney promises colorful costumes, creative stage designs, and traditional Colombian dance styles inspired by the cultures represented in the animated film.

The musical will also feature songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, including “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure.”

Joining “Disney Encanto” is a reimagined production of “Tangled: The Musical,” which previously entertained guests aboard the Disney Magic.

The new version will feature updated sets and special effects exclusive to the Disney Believe, bringing Rapunzel’s adventure to another generation of Disney Cruise Line guests.

“Disney Seas the Adventure” will round out the ship’s Broadway-style entertainment lineup, featuring Disney and Pixar characters alongside memorable songs from their films.

Together, the three productions will give guests a mix of brand-new entertainment and returning Disney Cruise Line favorites.

Zootopia Comes to Life With a New Entertainment Venue

The Disney Believe will also introduce Gazelle, a new entertainment hub inspired by the bustling world of “Zootopia.”

During the day, the venue will offer family activities, trivia, games, and immersive character encounters.

At night, Gazelle will transform into a destination for adults, with silent discos, variety performances and additional entertainment.

For the first time aboard Disney Cruise Line, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will also headline a new family show, inviting guests to help the pair solve their latest case.

Additional entertainment experiences will include the returning Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party, complete with live music and Disney’s signature fireworks at sea.

Guests can also explore Hero Zone, a futuristic sports arena filled with family competitions, or participate in Disney Uncharted Adventure, an interactive experience that uses mobile devices to uncover quests throughout the ship.

The Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas will offer complimentary screenings of classic and first-run movies from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and more.

Frozen Expands With Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast

Disney is taking the world of “Frozen” in a new direction with Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, an original family dining experience created for the Disney Believe.

The restaurant will introduce a previously untold chapter of the “Frozen” story, bringing characters including Oaken, Anna, and Kristoff into an immersive dining environment.

Set within a summerhouse courtyard deep in the forest, the experience will welcome families to dine alongside Oaken and his relatives.

Guests will enjoy musical performances from Oaken’s cousins, who will put their own spin on recognizable songs from the “Frozen” soundtracks.

The setting offers a different perspective on Arendelle, moving beyond the familiar castle environments to explore another corner of the animated franchise.

Two returning rotational dining venues will join Oaken’s Table.

The restaurant 1923 will celebrate Disney animation history with more than 1,000 drawings, props, and animation tools from the Walt Disney Archives, highlighting films including “Lilo & Stitch,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “Toy Story,” and “Peter Pan.”

Worlds of Marvel will feature “Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix,” allowing families to enjoy a musical dining experience featuring Rocket and Groot.

Inside Out, Big Hero 6 and Moana Inspire New Dining Spots

Disney Believe will also introduce several themed locations for desserts, drinks, and casual dining.

Inside Out: Joyful Sweets will bring the emotions of Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” into a colorful dessert shop inspired by Riley’s emotional headquarters.

Larger-than-life sculptures of Joy, Sadness, Anxiety, and Envy will decorate the space, alongside a design inspired by the Sense of Self.

The shop will offer nearly 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream, daily handcrafted gelato specials, and a selection of signature sweets available for purchase.

Two new cafes will also debut aboard the ship.

Big Hero Sips will take inspiration from San Fransokyo in “Big Hero 6,” while Café Kakamora will celebrate the coconut pirates from “Moana” with a setting inspired by Motunui.

Both locations will serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.

On the upper decks, Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods will return with its selection of casual dining options.

The Disney Believe will introduce an exclusive addition called Pluto’s Pita Platters, featuring Mediterranean-inspired dishes such as kebabs, pitas, garnishes and dips.

Other food stalls will serve barbecue, cantina bowls, salads, pizza, burgers, and soft-serve ice cream.

The Little Mermaid and Snow White Inspire Adult Lounges

Disney Believe will feature several new lounges designed specifically for adult guests, drawing inspiration from classic Disney stories.

Sea Notes will bring Ariel’s underwater world into an elegant piano lounge inspired by her secret grotto from “The Little Mermaid.”

The venue will combine contemporary design with ocean-inspired details and a pearlescent piano serving as its centerpiece.

Guests can enjoy live melodies while choosing from cocktails and nonalcoholic beverages.

Wishing Well will transport adults into a storybook setting inspired by the 1937 animated classic “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

Designed to resemble a castle courtyard, the lounge will feature white blossoms, red apples, handcrafted wooden details, and furnishings inspired by Snow White’s signature colors.

An ornate bar with stained-glass artwork will add to the castle atmosphere, while live music and activities will take place throughout each sailing.

Another new venue, Skygazers, will offer an observatory-inspired pub filled with celestial maps, astronomical instruments, bookshelves, and references to classic Disney stories.

Guests will be able to watch live sports, enjoy craft beers and cocktails, and explore a setting designed around dreams and discovery.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor will also return, bringing the supernatural atmosphere of the Disney Parks attraction to the Disney Believe.

The immersive lounge will introduce an exclusive menu of themed cocktails and mocktails created for the new ship.

Fine Dining, Spa Experiences and Adults-Only Retreats

The ship will offer several premium experiences for adults who want a quieter vacation or an upscale dining experience.

The Beauty and the Beast-inspired dining collection will include Palo Steakhouse, combining steakhouse favorites with modern Italian cuisine.

Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement will offer gourmet French-inspired dishes developed by the three-Michelin-starred chef.

The Rose will provide an elegant lounge for drinks before or after dinner.

Elsewhere, Quiet Cove will offer an adults-only retreat with an infinity pool overlooking the stern, whirlpool spas, a bar and a café.

Senses Spa will provide treatments and beauty services, while Sense Fitness will offer exercise equipment and wellness facilities.

Untangled Salon, inspired by “Tangled,” will provide hairstyling and beauty services.

Hook’s Barbery will put a Disney twist on a traditional men’s barbershop with haircuts, shaves and a hidden bar.

AquaMouse Returns With Seven Pools and Toy Story Water Fun

Families will find plenty of activities across the Disney Believe’s upper decks, including three themed districts offering water attractions, swimming pools and casual dining.

The Mickey and Friends district will feature seven pools spread across tiered decks, along with lounge chairs and a large screen showing Disney movies, sports and other entertainment.

Disney Cruise Line’s AquaMouse attraction will also return.

The 760-foot water ride combines twisting water passages with an animated Mickey Mouse adventure.

Guests aboard the Disney Believe will experience Mickey and Minnie’s “Port Adventures,” featuring adventures including “Swiss Meltdown” and “Sing a Silly Song.”

Younger passengers will have their own “Toy Story”-inspired water play area, complete with a splash zone, wading pool, family waterslide, and smoothie bar.

The space is designed for toddlers and younger children, giving families additional options outside the ship’s larger pools and attractions.

Monsters, Inc. Brings a 2319 to the Kids Club

Disney Believe will offer dedicated spaces for children, tweens and teenagers, with activities built around different age groups.

Disney’s Oceaneer Club will serve children ages 3 to 10, featuring five themed areas.

Young guests can explore Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab and Mickey and Minnie’s Captain’s Deck.

Exclusive to the Disney Believe, the club’s entrance will feature a “Monsters, Inc.” theme, complete with a 2319 warning, caution tape, and Mike Wazowski holding his laugh canister.

It’s a Small World Nursery will provide babysitting services for children ages 6 months to 3 years.

For older children, Edge will offer tweens ages 11 to 13 a hangout inspired by a New York City loft.

Vibe will welcome teens ages 14 to 17 into a Parisian-style loft with games, movies, and organized activities.

The Hideaway will provide another space for older kids to spend time together, featuring a dance floor and DJ booth.

Disney Believe Reveals Themed Staterooms and Luxury Suites

Accommodations aboard the Disney Believe will feature new artwork inspired by Disney films including “Moana,” “Coco,” and “The Lion King.”

The rooms will combine Disney-inspired designs with practical features for families, including storage space, elevated beds, and the split-bathroom layout available in most staterooms.

Approximately 70% of the ship’s staterooms will feature verandahs, while more than 450 connecting doors will help accommodate larger families traveling together.

Guests booking concierge accommodations will receive access to exclusive areas, including an “Alice in Wonderland”-inspired Concierge Lounge and a private sun deck.

Concierge staterooms and suites will feature artwork inspired by “Peter Pan,” while seven special oceanview rooms will embrace the world of “Toy Story” with floor-to-ceiling views.

The ship’s four royal suites will draw inspiration from “The Little Mermaid” and “Beauty and the Beast.”

Royal Reef Suites will incorporate Ariel-inspired ocean colors, shell details, and pearl-like finishes.

Royal Rose Suites will feature design elements inspired by Belle and the Beast, including rich blue and gold accents, elegant furnishings and rose motifs.

The most exclusive accommodation will be the Believe Tower Suite, located inside the ship’s forward funnel.

Inspired by Magic Kingdom Park, the nearly 2,000-square-foot suite will span two stories and accommodate up to eight guests.

It will include two main bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the upper decks and ocean.

Each room will take inspiration from different Magic Kingdom lands, while the living room will showcase lighting inspired by fireworks and balloons, along with artwork depicting Cinderella Castle.

The result will bring elements of Disney’s theme parks into one of its most luxurious accommodations at sea.

Disney Believe Will Sail From Fort Lauderdale to the Caribbean

Disney Cruise Line confirmed the Disney Believe will operate four- and five-night sailings from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The itineraries will take guests to destinations throughout the Caribbean and The Bahamas, with stops at one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s exclusive island destinations.

Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will be included across the itineraries, offering passengers opportunities to experience Disney’s private island destinations alongside their time aboard the ship.

The Disney Believe represents another step in the company’s major expansion, which will increase its fleet to 13 ships by late 2030.

The expansion also includes the Disney Adventure in Singapore and an agreement with Oriental Land Co. to introduce Disney cruise vacations to Japan in 2029.

With an original “Encanto” stage production, new “Frozen” dining experience, themed lounges, interactive family entertainment and elaborate accommodations, Disney Believe will continue Disney Cruise Line’s push to bring more of its storytelling into the cruise experience.
